Invitation for Expressions of interest for proposed development and/or operation of cruise infrastructure in Cobh, Co. Cork
The Port of Cork is a commercial state owned company with statutory responsibility for the management, control, operation and development of Cork Harbour. The Port of Cork has experienced significant growth in its cruise business with circ. 230,000 (pax & crew) visiting passengers anticipated for 2018.
Port of Cork now invites submissions from interested parties to develop and/or operate a new cruise berth at Lynch’s Quay, Cobh, Co. Cork. The proposed new cruise berth will be in addition to the existing cruise berth at Cobh Cruise Terminal, Deepwater Quay, Cobh, Co. Cork.
Submissions should include an outline of proposed cruise berth infrastructure at Lynch’s Quay, marine and other commercial activities on the site and the proposed operating model for cruises berthing in Cobh.
Additional information to be included as part of a submission can include; a vision for Lynch’s Quay, amount of proposed investment, finance and investment structure, key promotors background, Port of Cork’s role, and previous projects of similar scale delivered.

While Cobh has a dedicated cruise berth, the Port of Cork can also handle cruise liners at Ringaskiddy Deep-water berth and in Cork City centre at north Custom House Quay.
