As part of its annual tradition, Port of Cork cleared its shipping channels on Sunday, December 12th to deliver Santa in style and onboard a festively lit Pilot Launch. Ensuring Rudolf and the other reindeers had a well-deserved rest before Christmas Eve, Santa cruised into Cobh on a piloted Pilot Launch and was welcomed ashore by Mrs. Claus and lots of excited local children and their families from the Cobh community.  Santa paid only a short visit to Cobh taking a walk with the local children from his Pilot Launch to the bandstand nearby where he gave out a bag of gifts, much to the delight of the local children.
